Basecamp Recording Studio

Basecamp Recording is a professional recording studio just outside of Bozeman, Montana on the edge of the Gallatin National Forest. It is home to producer, singer/songwriter Chris Cunningham.

I (Chris) built Basecamp as a place to make great recordings — mostly for touring singer/songwriters like myself.

It was a natural extension of what I’d already been doing for the past 20 years on the road and working in studios all over the US. Learn more about my solo music here.

When I started to get requests to produce for other artists I realized I needed a dedicated facility with great acoustics and multiple rooms to track several players simultaneously.

Sitting on two acres of quiet county land, with in-your-face views of the Gallatin National Forest, Basecamp is a balance of clean, organized, and well-designed features that is both professional as well as warm and laid back.
