Music Ranch Montana

Karen was born in Bozeman, MT. Her parents, Tennett & Nellie Oma lived in Bridger Canyon & had music & a dance hall above their farm shop. For many years this dance hall was center for community dances & gatherings in the area & the fun community spirit associated with it made a lasting impression on Karen.

Frank grew up in Canada, in Central B.C. & he loved singing & music from a very early age. He studied mechanical engineering & started & developed a manufacturing company along with maintaining an ongoing interest in musical activities. Frank moved to Montana more than 20 years ago to an improved environment for free enterprise (see www.towhaul.com) & he purchased a place in Paradise Valley.

When Karen & Frank married in the mid 1990’s their common interest in music & community lead to their starting the first Music Ranch Montana at Frank’s place of business in Belgrade. Karen’s daughter Kim Wild of Bozeman now runs the TowHaul Corporation, & Karen’s son Scott Wheat is the Vice President & manager of the IT department for the TowHaul Corporation. Both families, with two children each, are very active in their support & enthusiasm for the Music Ranch.
